Ingredients

  • 24 oz Textured Vegetable Protein
  • 30 fl. oz Organic Tomato Sauce
  • 32 fl. oz Vegetable broth
  • Olive Oil
  • Chili Powder
  • Cayenne Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 2x Jalapeno Peppers (floating)
  • 2x Serrano Peppers (floating)

Process

  1. Brown TVP in non-stick pan with olive oil
  2. Transfer to crock pot
  3. Add tomato sauce and vegetable broth
  4. Add a little more olive oil
  5. First dump: chili powder, cayenne powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper
  6. Float peppers
  7. Cook on high for 3 hours
  8. Second dump: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, pepper
  9. Add additional salt or cayenne to taste
  10. Cook on high for 2 hours
  11. Remove peppers just before serving
